Who is it for?
‘Developing the Agile Edge’ is a programme designed for individuals in senior leadership positions who want to improve the performance of their staff and their organisation as a whole by nurturing more effective performance. The programme offers some truly unique and interactive tasks that are designed to demonstrate our innate human behaviours in regards to leadership and followership, and how we can take advantage of these to achieve more. After attending the programme you will have gained new skills in Leadership and be able to drive change in your organisation to improve the culture and performance of your colleagues and followers.

The programme will cover coping strategies together with the latest in leadership thinking from the World Centre of Excellence for Leadership. Chris has dedicated himself to personal development, academically starting with a Degree in sport science, with a dissertation in follower coping behaviours in military training environments. On completion of his BSc (Hons) Chris immediately embarked on a Master’s Degree by research. His thesis is titled, ‘The identification of changes in coping behaviours and the influence of repression during Pre Parachute Selection Training’, and can be found in the British Library. After an extremely successful period serving as one of Army’s specialist physical training instructors, Chris transferred his Academic skills to the Army’s Education and Training Services branch where he obtained a Professional Graduate Certificate of Education with Southampton University. Whilst serving at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, Chris maintained his current research interest in leadership and coping behaviours with the Communications and Behavioural Science Department at the World renowned Academy.
Chris has served all over the world primarily as a training expert. Of significant note was his work as a Psychological Operations specialist in Afghanistan, where his expert knowledge of behavioural science was put to excellent use under extreme conditions of conflict in Helmand Province. Also recently in the north of Pakistan where he directed the Pakistan Army on how best to maximise training effectiveness and efficiency. For his outstanding work in Pakistan Chris received the prestigious honour of a Joint Force Command Commendation on the 2016 Ministry of Defence operational Honours list.
